As the world's first set-top box chip to feature the ARM V9 CPU core, the S905X5 introduces substantial advancements in security. It integrates multiple Trusted Authority  (TA) for secure isolation and employs advanced Memory Tagging Extension (MTE), Pointer Authentication Code (PAC), and Branch Target Identification (BTI) technologies. By enhancing compression efficiency, the H.266/VVC standard significantly cuts user storage and broadband costs, reduces distribution and transmission expenses, and alleviates network data pressure, ultimately ensuring a seamless and unparalleled visual experience. The multi-format AVE-10 engine can decode up to 4K 120Hz or multiple videos simultaneously, which makes it ideal for applications such as multi-view live sports broadcasts, co-viewing with multiple participants, etc. The advancement of decoding capability solidifies the S905X5's position as a leader in delivering ultimate video quality for the future.

Amlogic's 9th Generation TruLife Pro image enhancement engine brings every frame to life. The flagship S905X5 and the S905X5M feature cutting-edge neural processing capabilities, including AI-SR (AI Super Resolution and AI-PQ (AI Picture Quality). Compatible with leading HDR technologies such as HDR10/10+, HDR Vivid, HLG, and Dolby Vision, the engine uses dynamic metadata to optimize scene details, contrast, and brightness with precision.
